Imran Razzaq, Public Sector Director, UK and Ireland, Pivotal Software, Inc.

Imran is the Director of Public Sector for UK and Ireland at Pivotal Software. He is responsible for helping customers from Government, Public Safety & National Security and Healthcare to digitally transform and create innovative applications and services that improve the workings of government and the lives of its citizens. Prior to joining Pivotal Imran has worked at Microsoft for eleven years. He was the Global lead for BT, taking cloud-based solutions in the enterprise and SMB space.  He then worked in the Consumer business for Emerging Markets and was responsible for the launch of Microsoft’s Cloud entertainment platform Xbox Live and the revolutionary Kinect product. His last role at Microsoft saw him lead Microsoft’s cloud business in Public Sector and regulated industries in Central Europe. In his earlier career, Imran worked for PwC where he focussed on Defence & Aerospace customers. After business school, Imran joined Accenture where he specialised in Technology, Media and Telecoms.

Imran read Economics at Manchester University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an MBA from London Business School.
